H.A.O K9 is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to transforming the lives of both shelter dogs and military veterans. Our unique approach, rooted in compassion and purpose, begins with a thorough evaluation process. We carefully select dogs from shelters, seeking qualities such as temperament, adaptability, and a strong desire to serve. Once identified, these dogs become part of the H.A.O family, where they are lovingly nurtured in a home environment while awaiting their call to duty.
Our training regimen is a testament to our unwavering dedication. Under the guidance of experienced trainers, these remarkable dogs undergo a rigorous and personalized program tailored to their individual strengths and abilities. They learn a range of skills crucial to supporting military veterans, from assisting with physical tasks to providing emotional support during challenging times.
At H.A.O K9, we understand the profound impact a service dog can have on a veteran's life. That's why our mission goes beyond training. We strive to create lasting bonds between our dogs and their future partners, ensuring a seamless transition into their new life together. Through this transformative journey, we aim to empower both our canine companions and the veterans they serve, offering a path to healing, independence, and a brighter future. Together, we're writing a new chapter of hope and purpose for those who have served our nation
